How much did we love this little piece of paradise on Gili Air. We stayed in one of the three rooms of a fantastic private villa (called Sunrise Villa Taba). It is secluded from the rest by an archway with the most beautiful wooden doors. And behind these those we found are own little piece of paradise on Gili Air. There's a green garden with sunbeds, flowers and an open bungalow where you can sit down on one of the pillows and relax. And on the second floor there's even a sundeck where you can work on your tan in total privacy. With it’s concrete kingsize double bed, fantastic shower and best smelling shampoo we ever had, it is a perfect getaway from the crowd.

These buildings are in the top 10 of places to stay while visiting Kuala Lumpur. There are several service apartments varying from basic to luxurious en some of them offer an incredible view overlooking the Petronas Towers. And ours did! But this wasn't the best feature about this apartment. Going up to the 37th floor, you'll find an infinity pool with the best you can get in Kuala Lumpur.

What's in a name? Paradise Resort is really paradise! This resort is located in Phang Nga Bay which is famous for its unique limestone formations and they offer a great view when lying on the beach. It's a secluded island hideaway where the gardens are green, the eye for detail is amazing, the beach is white, the water is blue, the food is fantastic and there are no words for the studio we stayed in. The bedroom is bright, has a lot of light and from our bed we had a great view overlooking the green. But the best feature in this studio, is the jacuzzi. While enjoying a relaxing bath, we openend the big wooden shutters and just loved the view! We even saw some hornbills flying by.
